- 6kg pale malt 7 EBC
- 225g cara pils 37 EBC
- 750g cara munich 100 EBC
- 400g smoked malt 6 EBC
- 250g chocolate malt 1200 EBC
- 250g chocolate malt 650 EBC
- 35g galena 13% for 60 minutes
- 35g galena 13% for 30 minutes
- 45g ahtanum 5.8% for 10 minutes
- Begin with 22 litres
- Wash with 14 litres.
- Boil for an additional 30 minutes to increase gravity
- Added 4 shots of espresso before cooling
I used 5g sugar per litter beer on this brew, and for a porter that was obviously too much, should use more like 3g on this type beer.
